Following on from the article I wrote about the French having been banned from the main PokerStars site, it seems all is not well on PokerStars.fr, where an all-out strike by players took place.

The French love a good strike and poker it appears has not escaped this, during standard poker games on Sunday night the cash tables were brought to a standstill. A pre-organised event for all players to Sit-out, spread like wildfire and it seemed most tables were occupied with sympathisers, as at times no hands were dealt what-so-ever.

I have to admire the French in their stance against an obscene amount of rake and tax they are being forced to pay on the fr. sites. Estimates of 7% rakes in cash games (including tax) and strict limits on buy-ins have inflamed the community. I hope this situation is sorted fairly in favour of the French poker player, because the worlds governments will be watching and I for one hope fair play prevails.
