One of the premier stops on the World Poker Tour is at the LA Poker Classic. This Tournament series began on January 19th and is still in full swing. 39 of the 54 scheduled events are already in the record books. The Main Event is scheduled to run for 5 days beginning on February 25th. The LA Poker Classic is held every year at the Commerce Casino in Southern California. Visiting the Commerce Casino it is tempting to say it is like Las Vegas in Los Angeles but saying that does not really give the Commerce Casino credit for what it really is. The Commerce Casino is the world’s largest Card Casino. In addition to the restaurants and hotel there are 243 tables and if this is not enough for you then do not be concerned because they are in the process of adding another hundred. As you walk through this casino you will notice that almost every one of the 243 tables are active. As you walk around to the restaurant areas and the excellent spa you will probably see a number of people with their laptops open using the free Wi-Fi to play online poker.
